# lettERS
This series is the pictorial follow-up to TRACES & PRINTS, the previous series in which Carole Bécam reinvented the prints of the past left on city and country walls. Here, she presents the LETTERS, with all the power of typography and its inner meaning. The letter becomes an object, an entity that exists by and for itself, with its own plasticity. It eventually becomes the main character of the painting.
